The explanation for the problem that “why we will use 10000000 during centimeter based knit fabric consumption calculation” is in the following:

We know,

The basic formula for centimeter based knit fabric consumption calculation is-
= (Body length + sleeve length+ Allowance) cm × (Chest width + Allowance) cm × 2 × GSM .… (1)

At first, we have to think that, as we have needed the fabric consumption quantity in kg unit and the fabric GSM (Grams per square meter) is in a square meter, so we have to convert all the lengths (Body length, Sleeve length, and Chest width) into the square meter. As a result, we will divide both of the parts (Body length+ Sleeve length) and Chest width by 100 for each (we know, 1m= 100cm).

Now, the above formula (1) will show as the following-Knit Fabric Consumption Calculation
Now, after converting, it’s seen that all the units are in gram per square meter.
So, here dividing the formula (2) by 1000, we can easily get the fabric quantity in kg unit (we know, 1kg = 1000gm)

So, the above formula (2) will show as the following-Knit Fabric Consumption Calculation
So, it’s the explanation that why we will use 10000000 during centimeter based knit fabric consumption calculation.
