Introduction:

Sweater is one kinds of knitted item. It can be pullover or cardigans which are worn by adults and children of both sexes. Sweater items also followed a garments manufacturing flow chart which makes the manufacturing processes easier. The actual process flow chart of sweater garments manufacturing has discussed in this article.

Yarn collection
According to buyers instruction required types of yarn should be collected from the suppliers. But, before purchasing yarn, a sweater garments merchandiser must need the clear idea about the wastage% of yarn. It should be noted here that, the range of wastage% for cotton and acrylic is 5-7% and in case of viscose,
spandex and wool it is 10-12%.

Winding of yarns
Here, by using winding machine, yarns are wound into cones from hanks, which are stored for production.

Yarn distribution
When winding of yarns completed, then all the cones are sent to yarn distribution section. From here, it’s distributed into the knitting floor. Here, it should be noted that, yarn distribution should be perfect for correct gauge knitting machine.

Knitting start
of sweater panels
According to buyers provided sample, sweater panels are knitted here. Number of panels can vary for different sweater styles. A single worker makes all the sweater panel here.

Online inspection of knitting panels
After making sweater panels it’s checked by online Q.C.
If found any problem, immediately rectified by the operator.

Linking of panels
Here, by using linking machine, all the sweater panels are joined according to buyers providing sample.

Online inspection of linking panels
After linking of all panels, it’s checked by online Q.C here. if found any problem, immediately takes the necessary steps.

Trimming
In this process, loose yarns are trimmed by using trimmer.

Light checking
In this stage, sweaters are checked here by using light checking machine.

Mending
If found any knitting defects in the sweater, then its repaired here with the help of needle.

Making button hole
According to buyers approved sample, all the required button holes are made here also zippers are attached here.

Washing
In this stage, sweater sent o the washing section for completing required wash. It should be noted here that, washing is a must needed process in case of cotton and acrylic, where, in case of fancy yarns it’s not recommended.

Labeling
Here, required labels are attached in the sweater by using sewing machine.

Ironing
According to buyers provided measurement sheet, sweater garments are ironed here by using steam iron. Here, it should be mentioned that, after ironing, sweaters are kept open to dry the steam.

Inspection by the factory quality team
After completing al the above processes, factory quality team inspects the garments according to buyers demand.

Folding and packing
All the sweater garments are folded and packed here and make ready for the shipment.

Final inspection
Finally, buyers nominated quality team inspects the sweater garments here according to buyer’s instruction.

Shipment
Finally all the goods are sent to the shipping port.

      After making sweater panel, linking panel and making full sweater, garments must be inspected by the Q.C.
